A 16-year-old girl was in critical condition after being shot in head overnight at a housing complex on the West Side in the Homan Square neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 1:40 a.m., police responded to a housing complex in the 1200 block of South Central Park Avenue where a teenage girl was shot in the head.
She was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating,
