Motorcyclist killed in collision on PCH in Orange County

A woman died Fourth of July afternoon after the motorcycle she was riding was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Huntington Beach.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. on Pacific Coast Highway and Coral Cay Lane, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

Details are limited, but police say a 27-year-old woman from West Covina was riding a 2021 Harley Davidson westbound on PCH. As she attempted to switch lanes, she lost control of the bike and collided with a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado in one lane and a 2017 Ford Mustang in another.

Police and paramedics responded to the scene and the woman was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. Her name has not yet been released.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Police Department’s “Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team,” officials said.
