Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies are in pursuit of a fleeing vehicle believed to be stolen Thursday afternoon. Sky5 is overhead.
The vehicle appears to be a gray small SUV, perhaps a Kia Soul.
It traveled north on the 110 Freeway through Carson at speeds nearing 100 mph before transitioning onto the northbound 405 Freeway through Torrance.
Despite the relatively wide-open freeways due to the July 4 holiday, the driver sometimes used the shoulder of the road.
