CPD: 10-year-old boy missing in South Shore

CHICAGO — A 10-year-old boy went missing from the South Shore neighborhood Monday evening and the Chicago Police Department is asking the public for information as the search continues.

Police said Jody Strong, 10, went missing in the 7200 block of South Stony Island Avenue sometime after 5:45 p.m. and was last seen wearing black jeans, a grey t-shirt and black Nike Foamposites.

It was also noted Jody is around four feet tall and weighs around 120 pounds, and his nickname is “Bryant.”

Jody may also be in need of medical attention.

If seen, CPD asks those with information to call 911 or Area One Detectives at 312-747-8380.
