2 San Francisco motorcycle police officers injured in crash in Potrero Hill neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Two San Francisco motorcycle police officers were injured in a crash Tuesday evening in the Potrero Hill neighborhood.

Video from our crew on scene showed the officers being loaded into an ambulance at Cesar Chavez and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police tell ABC7 News initial information indicates a speeding driver hit the officers and that driver is in custody.

Both officers were taken to the hospital, but there’s no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
