Brush fire erupts near L.A.'s Hansen Dam

The Los Angeles Fire Department battled a small brush fire near Hansen Dam Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was reported at about 2:40 p.m. at 11798 W. Foothill Blvd., firefighters said in an alert.

KTLA’s Gil Leyvas estimated the fire had charred approximately two acres as of 3:10 p.m. Smoke was visible for several miles.

No injuries or damaged structures were immediately reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
