TCSO investigating homicide in northeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after one person was killed in northeast Austin on Tuesday.

TCSO said the incident occurred in the 6800 block of Boyce Lane, near the intersection of Boyce Lane and Farmhaven Road around 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday.

Authorities said they received a 911 call in which the caller “said someone had been killed,” according to a press release. Upon arrival, sheriff’s found a women in her late 20s dead with multiple stab wounds.

TCSO said in the press release it has detained Keziah Titus, 19, on scene and later arrested her. Titus is charged with murder and is being held without bond at the Travis County Jail.

According to online court records, Titus didn’t have an attorney listed to represent her as of Wednesday morning. This story will be updated when that information is available and we can reach out to an attorney for a statement on her behalf.

The victim’s name will be released after the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office has conducted an autopsy and confirmed her identity, the release said.

TCSO said the investigation is ongoing.
