Stool Presidente Dave Portnoy is extremely confident that NFL star Travis Kelce will ask his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift, to marry him before the end of the year.

Portnoy revealed his prediction to Page Six on Tuesday, June 25. “It’s got to be coming soon. It seems like it’s ramping up. I would say within six months –– it feels like that,” The Barstool Sports founder, and avid Swiftie, noted that from an “outside” perspective, the singer and her beau appear to be moving quickly toward engagement.

While some Swifties speculate that Swift and Kelce, both 34, might already be engaged, Portnoy, 47, doubted this. “With how public they seem to be, they would very much want that to be a big show,” he mentioned. Regardless of the timing, Portnoy emphasized his desire for Swift’s happiness. “Whatever makes mother happy? Good for her. I’m happy,” he shared.

Rumors about their engagement have been circulating for months but gained momentum when Kelce surprised fans by appearing on stage with Swift during her Eras Tour concert in London. The Chiefs tight end participated in a skit before the 14-time Grammy winner performed “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” Dressed in a black suit and sophisticated top hat, Kelce carried his girlfriend from one end of the stage to the center and helped her out of her gown and into two-piece white bralette and bottoms.

Reflecting on the cameo, Portnoy said, “I don’t know, if I was in the crowd, like, I’m not there to see Travis necessarily. I can see him on Sundays in the NFL. I’m there to see Taylor. Like if I go to an NFL game, I don’t know if I want to see Taylor take a snap, but they’re head over heels in love.”

Meanwhile, Kelce’s mom showed her support for her son’s first official Eras Tour debut. The proud mom shared a post on Sunday, June 23 from a Swift fan account on her personal Facebook. The video captured the cute moment when her son took the stage at London’s Wembley Stadium over the weekend.
