The recruitment event will take place on June 29 from noon until 4:30 p.m. at ACC’s Highland Campus. Open to the public, the job fair offers Austin students employment opportunities at upcoming local music festivals including ACL Fest, Austin Food Wine, Two Step Inn, and Besame Mucho Austin.

Attendees can engage with employers in hospitality and catering services, entertainment media companies, security companies, and more. Prominent local venues like the Moody Center and Stubb’s BBQ will host booths, where students can learn about upcoming job opportunities.

In addition to booths, the event will feature entertainment-focused career workshops and a panel on event production, marketing, artist relations, talent booking, and finance. Information on registration for the job fair can be found online.

ACC is encouraging students throughout the Austin area to stop by this upcoming Saturday. “Sometimes all it takes is a conversation to get a foot in the door,” said Trish Welch, the director of Career Services at ACC.

C3 looks to replicate success at home

Although it is the first Austin-based job fair, C3 Presents has been connecting students to potential employers around the country since 2022. A survey of the 2024 Lollapalooza and Sueños Festival Job Fairs found that 30% of attendees were hired or earned an interview during the event.

C3 Presents’ Chief Operating Officer Emmett Beliveau reflected on the success of such events and expressed his readiness to bring that success back to Austin, the company’s hometown.

“We’re excited to offer this opportunity to students from across Austin to connect with our growing industry, and to discover new talented individuals to add to our live event teams,” Beliveau said in a statement.

Those working or attending ACL this year will get the chance to listen to live music from headliners like Chris Stapleton, Blink-182, Dua Lipa, and Tyler the Creator.
