Princess Anne has been hospitalized as a precaution following an “incident” at her home Sunday evening, Buckingham Palace shared in a statement Monday.
The Princess Royal, who is the sister of King Charles III, sustained “minor injuries and concussion” and remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, for observation.
She “is expected to make a full and swift recovery,” the statement added.
“The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery.”
