Expect mostly sunny skies throughout the day, low humidity and light northwesterly winds. Saturday Night: Upper 50s with partly cloudy skies. Sunday brings our next chance of showers and thunderstorms with a slight risk of severe storms across northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.
Sunday: We have the potential of two rounds of storms, one in the morning and another possibly developing in the afternoon. The main threats early will be damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours. If our second round develops in the afternoon we could see stronger storms capable of damaging wind, hail and brief tornadoes.
Monday: Memorial Day will be partly sunny with just a few isolated showers and highs in the low 70s.
