HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A crowd of protestors gathered outside the Harris County Jail on Friday night, sparking a heavy law enforcement presence.

According to a social post, the protest was set up to demand the release of three people arrested at an earlier Al Quds Day demonstration elsewhere in the city.

ABC13 sources saw some protestors chanting and others holding the Palestinian flag.

Law enforcement has yet to release a statement on the situation.
