It’s the second death due to a falling tree or limb since Saturday.

On Saturday morning, a tree branch fell at the Reinaldo Salgado playground on Madison Street and Patchen Avenue in Bed-Stuy. In that incident, a branch about 40′ up fell and fatally struck 35-year-old Jared Richardson, who was sitting on a bench in the playground. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
