A vehicle with a toddler inside stolen in Aurora was recovered and the child is safe.

A vehicle with a toddler inside of it was stolen in Aurora on Friday afternoon, police said, the vehicle was found and the child was unharmed. Police are looking for the suspect.

The incident happened at about 4:40 p.m. in the area of 2091 Dayton St., police said in a 5:14 p.m. tweet.

The vehicle, a brown Toyota RAV4, was found in the 9500 block of East Colfax Avenue, police said in a 5:35 p.m. tweet.

“The child (15-month-old) was unharmed during the incident,” police said. “The suspect is still at large.”
