What to expect for the 10 Days of activity?
Day 1:
– Lay protection on the floor and provide vertical wall plastic protection before the hacking work starts
– Dismantling of existing bathroom/toilet accessories and wiring
– Hacking of existing wall and floor tiles in bathroom/toilet and removal of paint
– Installation of portable toilet at the end of the day
Day 2:
– Repairing of spalling concrete (if any)
– Replacement of the floor trap and basin piping at bathroom/toilet
– Level peg for toilet/bathroom wall
– Rewiring for non-compliance water heater (if any)
Day 3:
– Skimming to common/master bedroom toilet ceiling
– Chamfering to side wall and pipe followed by 300mm upturn with waterproofing screed
– Dismantling and replacement of aluminium louvre vent at bathroom/toilet (am)
– Application of a layer of non-shrink grout in bathroom/toilet floors (pm)
– Repairing of spalling concrete (if any)
Day 4:
– Application of waterproofing membrane (2 coats) to bathroom/toilet floors
– Application of a layer of non-shrink grout in bathroom/toilet floors (pm)
Day 5:
– Conduct 1st water test to bathroom/toilet (4 hours)
– Screeding to bathroom/toilet floors
– Replacement of refuse chute hopper (if any)
Day 6:
– Plastering work to toilet/bathroom wall
– Painting to toilet ceiling
Day 7:
– Wall tiling work to common toilet and master bedroom toilet walls
Day 8:
– Floor tiling work to common toilet and master bedroom toilet walls
– Measurement of bi-fold aluminium door
– Replacement of main entrance gate and handling over of keys to resident upon completion (if any)
Day 9:
– Installation of pedestal pan, sanitary pipes, wash basin, grab bar and toilet door
– Installation of EASE grab bar and ramps inside unit (if any)
– Replacement of main entrance door, painting of existing main door frame and handling over of keys to resident upon completion (if any)
– Reinstatement of existing fixtures to bathroom/toilet and painting to bathroom/toilet ceiling pipes
– Defects rectification works (if any)
– Removal of portable toilet
– Painting work to toilet ceiling and pipe
Day 10:
– Conduct 2nd water test to bathroom/toilet (4 hours)
– Application of EASE slip-resistant treatment (if any)
– Touch up painting
– Cleaning and housekeeping
– Handover to resident
