Selena Gomez Wore All White With Benny Blanco on Labor Day

Selena Gomez embraced all white dressing for Labor Day. The singer was photographed holding hands with her partner, Benny Blanco, as they arrived at the Malibu Chili Cook Off. Gomez wore a white halter neck top with wide-leg pants and slides. She had on one pop of color: her pale pink headband. Blanco was in a green top and tan pants.

The look follows two other casual outfits she sported at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado over the weekend, although those were more fall-ready ensembles. On Friday, she wore an Ami pinstripe blazer with L’Agence jeans.

Gomez spent most of her weekend promoting Emilia Pérez in Telluride. But she found a little time to surprise some high school volleyball players there. After seeing a sign where they asked her to sing the national anthem at one of their games, Gomez showed up. She later shared footage of their meeting on Instagram. “They asked!! Couldn’t help it, it’s my first time in Telluride!” Gomez captioned the post.

Gomez has shifted her focus from music to acting in the few years. She explained the decision in March to Rolling Stone, saying, “I think it’s natural for people to take breaks, but I think for me, there is a whole other aspect to my life, pride, and joy. I love film. I love TV. I just feel like I haven’t done a lot of the things that I want to do in that space. It’s not that it’s ‘no, never’ [to music], it’s more that I would like to explore that world a bit more and have the time to actually do that.”

With acting, “I love being able to take roles that I have to fight for, not the ones that are being handed to me,” she added. “I’m going for the stuff that really, really inspires me.”
