On Thursday, Margot Robbie was photographed with husband Tom Ackerley enjoying a pre-baby vacation on Pamarola Island in Italy. The Barbie actress was wearing a black halter bikini and looked stunningly gorgeous on the beach and riding a small tour boat. The couple even tried some jet-skiing on the blue water.
At one point, she walked across the rocky shore with Ackerley in a straw bucket hat and multi-colored wrap. She also carried a large woven tote as they made their way home. The pair were joined by friends on their trip, Brian Grazer and his wife Veronica Smiley. On August 26, the group was seen grabbing lunch in Sardinia, during which Robbie displayed her chic maternity style in an open white button-down and a black woven sun hat.
The couple seems to be really soaking up the sun and fun this summer before welcoming their first child. In July, they were in Lake Como before they headed to England to catch a match at Wimbledon. Robbie wore a white minidress with an asymmetrical neckline to check out the men’s semi-finals match with Ackerley.
Robbie hasn’t yet spoken about her pregnancy, but an insider told People last month, “Family means a lot to both of them and they knew early on in their relationship being parents was something they really wanted. They’ve been keeping it under wraps for a while but are happy the news is out.”
The pair were married in 2016 after meeting on set in 2013. In an interview, Robbie told Vogue, “I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot.’”
She continued, “‘Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.’”
