Hailey and Justin Bieber Have Welcomed Their First Child, Jack Blues Bieber

Hailey and Justin Bieber are officially parents. Hailey has given birth to the couple’s first child, a baby boy. The couple shared the announcement on Justin’s Instagram, where he posted a photo of the baby’s foot with the caption,“WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER 🐻”

The Biebers announced that Hailey was expecting relatively late into her pregnancy. They posted photos from their vow renewal, which doubled as a maternity shoot, on May 9. Hailey’s rep told Entertainment Tonight shortly after that Hailey was a little over six months along then. In the months after, the couple chose to keep their baby’s gender and Hailey’s exact due date to themselves.

Hailey kept a lower profile in the final weeks of her pregnancy, too.

Throughout their five-year marriage, the Biebers have spoken publicly about their desire to start a family together. Last October, Hailey told GQ that she is excited to be a mom someday, saying, “It’s something that’s going to come when it comes.”

She also admitted that she and Justin likely can’t raise their child completely out of the spotlight, given their level of fame. “Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now than it was when I was 18,” she said. “It’s so hard to say what I’m going to do or not do when there isn’t even a child here yet. I don’t even know what it feels like to be a parent other than a dog parent yet. And that’s not the same thing, by any means.”
