Jake DuPree’s 10-Minute Oblique Session Will Rock Your Core

Fitness

Slightly strapped for time? Look to Jake Dupree for a fun-filled oblique workout that’s only a mere ten minutes. In the session, Jake is assisted by Lily Huber, who does the movements full out, and Rehima Jordan, who shows modifications for each technique throughout the class. If there’s any part of the class where you need a refresher on the technique, you can simply rewind or fast-forward to any specific timestamp.

Starting on a mat, this group fitness class features high knee raises with twists, side bends, and challenging plank variations. Continuing on, fans of pilates will see some familiar moves, including some variations that are bound to get your core fired up. “Chop, chop! Just like when you think about your ex!” Dupree jokes, reaching across the body, on beat.

If you’re looking for a little something extra, try this cool down from Sweat and Tell or stretch sequence by Danielle Gray.
