How Taylor Swift Paid Tribute to Travis Kelce During Her First London Eras Tour Show

On Friday night, Taylor Swift performed at Wembley stadium in London and her boyfriend Travis Kelce was back in the audience after a long time apart. The couple have been separated by busy schedules and distance for about a month, but Kelce was back in Europe and finally able to make it to Swift’s Eras Tour again.

During the performance, the star sang “But Daddy I Love Him” and “So High School,” the latter of which is supposed to be about Kelce. During the performance, lights flashed in red and gold, which fans interpreted as a shout out to Kelce—those are the colors of his team the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kelce was joined by his brother Jason, and they were both seen enjoying the show in the VIP section. In a video shared by fans, Kelce can be seen smiling as Swift sang the lyrics, “He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring / And said, ‘Marry me, Juliet / You’ll never have to be alone.’”

After the show, Swift finally went Instagram official with Kelce, posting a selfie of herself with her boyfriend as well as Prince William and his older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. She wrote in the caption, “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start 🇬🇧🇺🇸🤝@princeandprincessofwales.”

The Prince of Wales was celebrating his birthday and even shared a picture of the event on his own Instagram timeline. Kelce didn’t make it into the photo, but the cute backstage image showed William, Swift, and the two kids smiling backstage.

“Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour,” he wrote in the caption.

The Prince is a big fan of Swift and has talked about meeting her in the past, sharing on an episode of Apple Fitness+’s Time to Walk series that they sang together during a Centrepoint charity event at Kensington Palace with Jon Bon Jovi during his performance of “Livin’ on a Prayer.’”
