Claim to Fame Finale Reveals Real Housewife’s Brother & Who Won

And the winner of Claim to Fame is…

The ABC competition series’ third season ended with a bang Aug. 28 by revealing four jaw-dropping celebrity relatives we never saw coming.

During the first half of the two-part finale, contestant Shane was eliminated after fellow contender Mackenzie correctly guessed his iconic family member was Oscar-winning The Godfather star Marlon Brando.

“Marlon’s my grandpa,” Shane shared with the remaining hopefuls. “I grew up my whole life living with him. Spent some time with him, was very fortunate.”

That left Mackenzie, Adam and Hud to battle it out one last time for the $100,000 prize. But after Adam won the physical challenge, he received the advantage of the final guess of the night—and he took a shot at exposing Mackenzie’s celebrity relative, who turned out to be singer Trace Adkins.

As the country music legend shared in a video message upon her elimination, “Mackenzie Lynn Adkins is my daughter. Congratulations on getting as far as you did and I’m proud that you are my daughter.”

And even though she didn’t win, Mackenzie had no regrets about her game play.
