Irish rapper Rejjie Snow is back with another new album. The follow-up to 2021’s Baw Baw Black Sheep is titled Peace 2 da World and arrives October 25 (via Honeymoon/+1). He’s also shared a music video for the new song “Karen,” directed by Reuben Bastienne-Lewis. Watch it below.
Written after Snow became a father and spent some time in Brazil, Peace 2 da World is about self-discovery and slowing down to focus on the important things in life—as spotlighted in “Karen,” a song about thinking before you speak. It also features production from regular collaborator Rahki.
“I’m a nomadic person, so this is my soundtrack to those days and the places I roamed,” said Snow. “On this album I’m speaking to my favorite person in the world, and this is the first time I’ve made something for someone specifically. I like working this way because I was forced to honor and challenge myself in ways I’ve never done so before.”
Snow will head out on tour this autumn in support of his new album. He has shows in New York, California, England, Germany, Norway, and more. Find a complete list of Snow’s tour dates below.
