The Broadway revival of The Who’s Tommy is coming to a close. The final show of the Broadway run will take place on Sunday, July 21, at New York’s Nederlander Theatre. A national tour is in the works, beginning in Providence, Rhode Island, in the autumn of 2025.

The Who’s Tommy first ran on Broadway between 1993 and 1995, and the show returned in March. It was nominated for Best Revival of a Musical at the 2024 Tony Awards.

According to The New York Times, ticket sales for The Who’s Tommy have slowed since its spring launch. Producers put up $15.7 million for the revival, and the money has not been recouped, according to The Times.
