Roughly one week after winning the 2023 Polaris Music Prize, Toronto-based electronic artist Debby Friday has shared a new song. The track is called “Let U In,” and it follows Friday’s debut LP, Good Luck, from earlier this year. You can hear the new single below (via Sub Pop).

Friday recorded “Let U In” in Melbourne during her Australian tour supporting Good Luck. The track is co-produced by Friday and vocalist and electronic producer Darcy Baylis.

Good Luck was tracked at Candle Recording Studio in Toronto, and mastered by Heba Kadry in New York. Friday co-produced the LP, which includes the standout single “So Hard to Tell,” alongside Graham Walsh. Friday’s debut EP, Bitchpunk, arrived in 2018, followed by the six-song release Death Drive the next year.

During a string of tour dates behind Good Luck, Friday will perform at Pitchfork Music Festival London on November 11 at Roundhouse. Tickets are currently available here.
