Soya Nuggets Recipe:
Soya – 2 ½ Cups
Hot Water – For Soaking
Other Ingredients:
Onion (finely chopped) – 2 nos
Oregano – 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
Green Chilli (chopped) – 2 nos
MSG – ½ tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Black Pepper – ¼ tsp
Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) – 1 tbsp
Bread (chopped) – 4 slices
Other ingredients:
Oil – For Deep Frying
Maida – ½ Cups
Salt – ½ tsp
Water – ¾ Cup
Panko Bread Crumbs – 2 Cups
Cooking Instructions:
1. To a bowl, add soya chunks and hot water and let it soak for 10 minutes.
2. Strain the soya and squeeze the hot water out of it
3. To a blender, add the soya and the remaining ingredients and blend till it all combines together and forms a binding texture. Add very little water while blending if it isnt blending well.
4. Shape it into squares and keep it aside
5. Prepare a thick batter with maida, salt, pepper and water.
6. Dip the shaped nuggets in the maida batter and then coat it in the panko crumbs.
7. Heat oil in a kadai. Make sure the oil is hot before frying the nuggets
8. Deep fry the nuggets till it turns golden brown and crispy
9. Transfer it to a place lined with tissue paper to drain off the excess oil.
10. Serve it hot with any dip of your choice
